Please sign the petition below that will be sent to the Caltrans Truck Ban Study team, State and local transportation commissions, and City, County and State elected representatives.

Keep the I-580 truck ban to help preserve and protect our communities and travel corridors. These corridors are essential to maintaining safe routes to our schools, health care facilities, emergency services and local businesses. The current I-580 truck ban keeps heavy trucks off of Highway 13 and most of our neighborhood streets and connecting corridors.
We, the undersigned, urge Caltrans District 4, the I-580 Truck Access Study leadership and Technical Advisory Committee, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, the California Transportation Commission, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, and Elected City/County/State officials representing the East Bay to:
- Keep the I-580 truck ban fully in place.
- Protect ALL East Bay neighborhoods from increased noise, pollution, and safety hazards.
- Prioritize community health and sustainability over corporate freight interests.
- Invest in clean transportation and environmental improvements instead of dismantling proven protections.
- Ensure all future decisions include meaningful community input.
